Sacramento Ready is a regional partnership of local government working to provide emergency preparation and response information to people in the Sacramento area.

In the event of an emergency that requires citizens to evacuate from an impacted to a safe area, there are agreed-upon strategies already in place to ensure the process is handled as smoothly as possible. How to help your neighborhood
During significant rain storms, the most common problem is localized flooding due to plugged drain outlets. Do your part by raking your leaves and debris and disposing of them in your green waste container before they get washed into the street. To report downed trees, call 916-875-5171. To report flooding in your neighborhood, call 875- RAIN (7246) and for more tips visit www.StormReady.org.
