Information and Referral Volunteers in Sacramento

2-1-1 Sacramento is a comprehensive, multilingual telephone information and referral service. Using a computerized database of more than 2,400 community services, trained staff and volunteers help callers find the resources they need. 
2-1-1 Sacramento staff are available 24-hours/7 days a week by simply calling "2-1-1".

Citizen Corps

Get Involved in Preparing your Community. Citizen Corps, Homeland Security's grassroots effort, localizes preparedness messages and provides opportunities for citizens to get emergency response training; participate in community exercises; and volunteer to support local first responders.
